Positions:

Energy coordinator
This requires a person who can and will wake up early

every morning to wake everyone else up. In addition

to that you need to write schedule on a big piece of

butcher paper to tape up to the lodge and lead spirit

circle. You are advised not to stay up late every

night and usually the position is combined with

another staff position since the energy coordinator

job is needed mainly in the morning. You are also

responsible for maintaining the energy of the camp.

You definitely should be a high-energy person.

Social Action coordinator
This should be an open minded person who has resources

ready for social action events at camp. You need to

remember to find some form of social action that would

be interesting to the whole community and not only

you. The social action should also pertain to the theme of the camp.

Touch group coordinator
This position is good for a first time staff member.

You quickly learn people's names and you need to be

able to come up with creative titles for touch groups

that are related to the theme of camp. You will provide the

touch groups with fun and interesting community building

activities. You also need to attend your touch group to set an example.

Special events
As the special events coordinator you need to make sure special

events like the auction, talent show and overnights are planned and

fun. Remember you don't need a special event every night and try to

make the events as enjoyable for everyone as possible.

Worship Coordinator

If you are applying for this position you need to already

have some ideas of worships to do. You need a lot of

resources to draw from to make the worship and be sure

to make the worship enjoyable for everyone. Be prepared to put a lot of effort into this position.

Secret buddies
Another position that is good for first time staff

members. You're position is mostly on the first day

or two to get the names of people who want buddies and

then giving the names to the secret buddies. Some

people are just lazy or are douche bags and won't give

their buddy anything, you can't avoid it, but you need

to find a way to bring that to a minimum.

T-shirts
This position is good for first time staff members,

but you need to remember that unless you set aside a

time to do the t-shirts your going to most likely need

to make the shirts during the banquet. It's advised

to recruit a task force to help you with the shirts.

Week-book coordinator
This position needs a person who knows everyone's name

or could easily memorize them and likes to take

pictures. It's also good to get to know as many

people as possible so that you can give them good

superlatives. You will need to bring a camera.

Environment coordinator
This is the person who deals with how disgusting humans

are. You'll need to coordinate the work project and

you're the person people come to when the toilet is

plugged, a light is broken, the lodge is dirty, one of

the stair steps to the porch broke, or a room smells

like the gateways to hell. You are in no way required

to clean up or fix anything, but you need to go tell

the people who do need to.

Male Chaplin/Female Chaplain
This position needs someone who people can easily open

up to. It is good, but not required, to have some

pervious experience with helping people. You also

need to go to every rap, since you will be leading the rap.

The Hook up Coordinator
This person will be everyone on staffs extra hand. Because sometimes when a staff member needs help; there is no one to help him/her. This staff person needs to able not to get tired, EVER!!!!! IF Someone on staff needs help in the morning, you will help. But, this positon is not going to be abused by other staff members to get out of there work. You are a last minute option when no other staff person is available. You will most likely be helping every person on staff, example set up dinner or lunch if no ones there. Or, set up decorations for the dance. Help set up tables for the carnival. You must be able to hook up any staff member with help and a bag of chips.
